Our weekly social dance at the Denver Turnverein: classes for every level, then three hours of swing.

The schedule

How the night runs

Two classes run side by side at 7. The beginner class at 8 is included with the dance, so it's the easiest way to try swing for the first time.

  1. 7:00

    Lindy Hop Fundamentals $10

    7:00 to 7:50 PM. Build the core of Lindy Hop: connection, rhythm, and the swing-out.

  2. 7:00

    Balboa Class $10

    7:00 to 7:50 PM, running alongside Fundamentals. Close-embrace swing made for fast tempos.

  3. 8:00

    Beginner Class Included

    8:00 to 8:30 PM. Never danced before? Start here. It comes with your dance admission.

  4. 8:30

    Social Dance

    8:30 to 11:30 PM. Three hours of DJ'd swing music on one of Denver's best dance floors.

A 50-minute class building the fundamentals of Lindy Hop.

A 50-minute Balboa class at the same time as Fundamentals, so pick one.

Beginner Class + Social Dance

At the door

The 8:00 PM beginner class is included with your dance admission. For our live-band launch party, admission was $20, with 50% off for students with ID.

Dancers just call it "The Turn." Its big, beautiful wooden floor has been a home for Denver dancing for years.
